It’s not always the safest option to play this Pokemon Go game, and that’s why the game is often associated with a gun.
But a new study suggests you don’t have to be in the middle of a shooting to get shot.
Researchers at Duke University found that if you don use your phone to check the weather or watch a movie, you don.
The team tested how often users checked their phones while they played Pokemon Go and how they did so in real life.
They also found that users who didn’t use their phones were less likely to be shot, and they were less than half as likely to have been shot if they used their phone to do so.
There’s a catch: This isn’t a random finding.
Researchers looked at data from more than 15 million people from across the US and found that people who used their phones less often to check their weather or listen to a movie were more than three times as likely as those who used it more frequently to be killed.
A gun-free society?
This finding suggests that if we don’t want to be a part of a gun-happy society, we might need to think about what kind of society we want to live in.
